Just simple, affordable, easy habits that make real life feel lighter.

Let me be the first to say it: I am tired. Tired of hustle culture, tired of pretending I have the energy of an influencer princess running on 2000mg of caffeine, and tired of wellness routines that require a color-coded calendar and a fat bank account.
I wanted to feel good again, but I also wanted to stay lazy. That’s exactly why I started looking for lazy wellness tips—the kind that don’t demand a 5 a.m. wake-up call, a three-hour routine, or a whole new personality.
I wanted simple, affordable habits that actually make real life feel lighter, not another system to fail at. So if you’re in your “I want to glow, but I also want to lie down” era, welcome. This guide is full of lazy wellness tips that help you feel good again without overextending yourself. Let’s get into it.

The quickest, laziest wellness upgrade ever: make your environment a little nicer.
I’m a sea-level girlie who suffers in the dry climate of Denver, which means waking up with crusty nostrils and a scratchy throat. When my skin started looking like I was storing the secrets of ancient Egyptian mummification inside it, I decided it was time to buy a decent humidifier. And it was a freaking GAME CHANGER.
👉 This one runs for days, so you don’t have to worry about replacing the water every 5 minutes. It has an app you can use to track the humidity from the comfort of your bed. And it’s quiet.
Turn it on at night. Boom. Dewy skin, easier breathing, and you feel like a soft-girl woodland creature instead of a raisin. You don’t even have to do anything except exist and breathe. Your plants will love it, too.

I don’t take supplements because I’m disciplined. I’m not.
I take them because my body was sending me messages like “hey bestie, our thirties are starting to get a little ouchie haha…ugh.”
These are the ones that made a huge difference:
👉 Magnesium Glycinate AKA The Chill Pill (for sleep + muscles + being a nicer person)
If you only add one supplement to your life, let it be magnesium glycinate. Most of us are low on magnesium without even knowing it, because stress burns through it like gas in a rental car.
Magnesium helps your muscles and nervous system relax, making it easier to fall (and stay) asleep. It helps anxiety by calming the “fight or flight” chemicals in your brain. It also reduces muscle tension, improves digestion, and helps with PMS.
Seriously, just take it. You’ll be glad you did.
👉 Turmeric + Black Pepper AKA The Beyoncé of anti-inflammatory supplements (for inflammation + general “my body hurts less”)
*Look I know you’re sick of hearing about it.* I am too, okay? Nobody is ever shutting up about the benefits of damn turmeric. It’s inescapable. It’s redundant. It’s effective.
This shit works. It reduces pain, bloating, fatigue, random aches. If your knees crunch like a Dorito when you stand up, Turmeric is your girl. Chronic inflammation messes with hormones; turmeric helps regulate that.
Why take it consistently?
Turmeric isn’t a “one and done” supplement — it works best when it builds up in your system.
Lazy tip: Keep it by your coffee or water bottle so you remember daily.
👉 Milk Thistle (for liver support — especially if you’re in your “detoxing from alcohol” era)
Milk thistle is famous for its support of the liver — the organ in charge of detoxing every single thing you put in your body. If your liver is stressed, you feel stressed.
A supported liver means your whole digestive system works more smoothly. Your liver works overtime when you drink; milk thistle helps it bounce back. It helps protect the liver from damage and encourages regeneration of liver cells.
Who benefits most?
Anyone who drinks (or used to), takes medications, has hormonal symptoms, or simply wants better digestion.
Basically: if you’re tired, puffy, or foggy, milk thistle is worth trying.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Everything above takes two seconds to swallow and gives you actual results without needing to rearrange your whole life.
Not five rituals.
Not a 47-step morning routine.
Just one thing you can do every day without it feeling like a chore.
Mine is a slow cup of tea before bed. That’s it.
Usually it’s chamomile. Sometimes it’s whatever I can find in the bottom of the cabinet at 11 p.m.
The point isn’t perfection, it’s peace.
Here is my favorite brand of chamomile to cozy up with next to a flickering candle.
And trust me, it just tastes better in a cat mug. I can’t explain it, but it’s science.

BONUS: This combo also makes a great gift for other lazy ladies in your life.
Lazy wellness isn’t about changing your life overnight.
It’s about giving your nervous system tiny pockets of calm to breathe again. Taking care of yourself the easy way can be cute and whimsical, too.

I know everyone says “eat whole foods,” but I am not cooking Pinterest meals after a 12-hour workday. It’s just not happening. Like sure, let me just take off my uniform and dirty up an entire 10 piece cookware set before bed tonight. Sounds like a great time.
So here’s the lazy-girl hack:
Pick two easy, healthy meals you can make on autopilot.
Then just rotate them.
If they take more than 10 minutes to throw together, you aren’t being lazy enough.
For me, it’s:
For the wraps, I use flour tortillas, deli turkey, and that baby spinach that costs $1 per bag. If I’m feeling spontaneous, I’ll add a little bit of yellow bell pepper for color, but that’s only if I don’t mind chopping something up. I top it with a sprinkle of shredded Monterrey jack cheese, and call it a day.
And the shrimp stir fry? Even easier. I grab a bag of stir-fry veggies from Trader Joe’s (they have the best one, but any bagged stir-fry that comes with sauce will work), and a small shrimp cocktail. Stay with me here…
Throw the stir-fry into a pan. Once it’s hot, add the sauce packet and a few of the already-cooked shrimps from the shrimp cocktail. Once everything is warm, you can eat it. It’s literally the simplest, laziest way to have a halfway decent, healthy meal. If you want to beef it up, add some instant noodles. But whatever you do, for the love of God, please do it in one pan.
It’s not glamorous. But it keeps me full, sane, and not spending $30 a day on sad takeout. Give it a shot and tell me I’m wrong… I’ll wait.
This is the heart of Simply Lazy Wellness:
Stop waiting until everything is perfect to take care of yourself.
Small things count. Lazy things count. It doesn’t have to be hard or even aesthetic.
If it makes you feel 10% better, it’s worth doing.
Wellness should never feel like punishment.
It should feel like support.
So this blog is dedicated to the girl who:
If that’s you… you’re in the right place.
Welcome to Simply Lazy Wellness, where self-care meets the snooze button.
