Hi, I’m Kelsey. The creator of Simply Lazy Wellness.

This corner of the internet was made for anyone who wants to feel good without turning their entire life into a 5 a.m. cold-plunge, green-juice, rise-and-grind-hustle-culture movie montage.

I started this blog because I hit a point where I was genuinely tired of feeling tired. Wellness had begun to feel like homework. In an effort to emulate my favorite content creators (who happen to have a LOT more money than I do) I burned myself out with wellness routines that were complicated, overwhelming, and full of stuff that didn’t fit my lower-middle class lifestyle. I did this over and over with different regimens. None of it stuck. I just couldn’t fit elaborate self-care into my day when really, all I wanted to do was to survive my job, eat something that wasn’t takeout, and maybe get six hours of sleep without having to knock myself out with over the counter sleep-aides.

So instead of trying to become a whole new person, I simplified everything.
I found the shortcuts. The simple wins. The habits that actually made a difference without requiring 47 steps and a major reduction to the amount of time I spend doom-scrolling in bed. And once I realized how much better I felt taking the easy way out, I knew I wanted to share it all.

My Philosophy

No “rise and grind” speeches.

Just small, doable habits that feel good — the kind that fit into real life, not social media branding.

A Few Things About Me

  • I’m a long-time artist with a chaotic, colorful life, and I’m about to be a first-time mom.
  • I’m a flight attendant who’s spent years learning how to stay healthy on-the-go (mostly by trial and plenty of error).
  • I love anything crunchy, Trader Joe’s owns my soul and I don’t care how cliche that sounds.
  • I built this blog because I wanted a softer, slower, happier life — and I know I’m not the only one.
